Intelligent Monitoring for a Healthier Aquarium
Maintaining stable water conditions is essential for healthy fish, corals, and other aquatic life.
Unexpected temperature fluctuations, unstable pH, water level changes, and equipment-related leaks can threaten an established aquarium.
The A3 Apex Jr helps you stay informed by continuously monitoring critical conditions and notifying you when intervention may be needed.
Temperature Monitoring
The included temperature probe continuously tracks aquarium water temperature.
Set your preferred temperature range and receive notifications when readings move outside configured limits.
This can be especially useful for identifying heater malfunctions or cooling problems before they cause significant harm.
Real-Time pH Monitoring
The included lab-grade pH probe provides valuable insight into aquarium water chemistry.
Monitor daily pH fluctuations, review historical trends, and receive notifications when readings exceed your preferred range.
For reef aquariums, pH monitoring is particularly useful when using calcium and alkalinity supplementation methods such as two-part dosing or kalkwasser.
Magnetic Optical Sensor – Water Level Detection
The included Magnetic Optical Sensor (MOS) detects whether water is present at its installed position.
Common applications include:
Sump water level monitoring
Automatic top-off reservoir alerts
Dosing container monitoring
Water mixing station monitoring
High- or low-water level detection
The compact magnetic design allows installation on compatible surfaces up to 1/4 inch thick.
LD-2 Leak Detection Sensor
Water leaks can damage aquarium equipment, cabinetry, flooring, and surrounding areas.
The included LD-2 sensor detects unwanted water on most flat surfaces.
Place the sensor inside your aquarium cabinet, near plumbing connections, or wherever leaks may occur.
When water reaches the sensor, the A3 Apex Jr can send an alert through Apex Fusion.
Apex Fusion – Monitor Your Aquarium from Anywhere
Apex Fusion is Neptune Systems' cloud-based aquarium monitoring and management platform.
Access aquarium information through compatible smartphones, tablets, and computers.
Features include:
Real-time temperature and pH readings
Historical monitoring graphs
Customizable dashboard layouts
